Who am I? I started in the property industry in 2017 with experience in Estate Agency. I now run Aimee Shone Mortgages which is part of the Mortgage Advice Bureau network as a Mortgage Broker. During my time in these industries, I discovered that there is much more to buying a house than just choosing the right mortgage.
I look to help educate customers in choosing both of their mortgage and protection needs which then helps the understanding of buying your first home, moving home, re-mortgaging your home or picking an investment property! Life Insurance, Critical illness and income protection are often overlooked or not prioritised. I believe in matching you with a competitive mortgage deal is only half of the job. Equally important is to make sure you are best protected to KEEP you in your home! Its so important to financially protect yourself and your loved ones in the event of the worst happening. I can put this all in place for you, giving you piece of mind for your future and that of your family.
How am I different? Buying a new house should be one of the most exciting things you can do, so leave the work to me! I will help you understand each step within the house buying process and give you tips and tricks on how to negotiate with estate agents and vendors. If you are moving home then I will still help with all of the above but we will also go through the ‘cost of moving’ this can be really vital when it comes to making that big decision. Investment? Lets look at your mortgage options, whether the properties are going to achieve you a good rental income. Re-mortgage? Maybe your circumstances might have changed since you last reviewed your mortgage. Maybe your garden or kitchen are crying out for some ‘home improvements’ lets look into how you can do this. Or it could be a simple ‘like for like’ re-mortgage, rest assured I can help you!
